Framing Consultation Process

Before we frame any art work or photos we offer a framing consultation to ensure that you'll be happy with the final product. We can also educate you on what's involved with framing and how best to protect and preserve your print or photo.
We chat to you about your needs and take into consideration: where the framed work is going, the surrounding decor and the style of frame that will best compliment and protect your art print or photo.

We consider ourselves to be minimalist framers, and strive to make frames that don't take away from what is being framed. We believe the print or photo should be the hero.

We then quote and book in the framing job if you are happy to move forward.

Do you frame canvas art?

Absolutely! We complete canvas framing through a process of stretching and float framing the canvas. This method not only protects the artwork and gives it a beautiful finish, but also ensures that no part of the work is obscured.

 

What kind of frames do you stock?

We have hundreds of frame options to suit your style and your budget; stained, painted, or natural timbers, gold and silver. We can help you to select the perfect frame for your work. We also provide custom mats in a range of colours along with a range of glass and acrylic including regular, UV-filtering, anti-reflective and museum-quality that can protect your works from UV damage.

  

Conservation framing?

In addition to archival mats and protective glazing, we only use acid-free backing and mounting to ensure the full conservation of your work. We can provide fully reversible custom framing solutions.

 

Can you help with installation?

Once your works are framed, we can refer you to experienced installers who can help you with the installation of works.
